Southern Maryland Weddings – Amy and Blair Hall – Your Journey Studios – When we met Amy and Blair last May to talk about their wedding plans, May 2017 seemed so far away! We did their engagement session during the summer and in the blink of an eye it seemed we were ringing in the new year! Fast forward to May 20, 2017 and here we are… their wedding day! They couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day with temperatures in the mid to high 60’s and low humidity. We started out at a family friends home with getting ready shots and a first look. The two of them were cute as they took a moment to just be with each other before heading to the church. As Blair waited, Amy snuck up from behind and instead of pinching herself to make sure this was real, reached out and gave Blair a little pinch. 🙂 He couldn’t resist a grin and a blush as he turned around to face his bride. As Amy was getting ready to get in her car, she spotted the friends yellow camero and posed for an impromptu shot. With a lot of laughter, before you knew it, Tom was pulling out the car and this was to be Amy’s ride to the church at St. John’s in Hollywood, MD. Without a minute to spare, Amy and her dad walked down the aisle to where Blair was waiting patiently. In a Christian service, they both vowed their love for one another and included a visit to the Blessed Mother statue; where a photo of Amy’s mom who had passed recently had been placed. Following the ceremony the bride and groom entertained their family and friends at the Elks Lodge in California, MD where it was decorated beautifully and a delicious meal by Personalized Catering (Patty Sparks) was served. We were honored to have been selected to share in Blair and Amy’s special day and wish them a lifetime of joy. #happilyeverafter
